The Nike Jordan 4 Photon Dust is part of Nike’s Craft initiative, which sees staple silhouettes updated with higher-quality materials and premium craftsmanship. We’ve already seen the popularity that the Air Force 1 Craft created last year, and we expect that a more luxe version of the Jordan 4 will provoke a similar reaction.
Titular Photon Dust fills out most of the shoe, sitting on the upper in panels of leather and suede, offset by similar hues of Pale vanilla, Off-White, Grey Fog, Flat Pewter, and Sail. The overall effect of this combination is one of calm confidence. The all-grey upper sits atop a white midsole which only increases the huge versatility of this colorway. Plus, with a closer focus on material quality, it’s nice to see Nike giving the fabrics space to breathe with a minimal colorway.
